Whee. People! we’re going to have our next meeting on the 23rd of March. 2.30-4.30 pm. SJBA meeting room. We will be having a few project speakers delivering their speeches, (and lotsa surprises!), so please come and have fun! =]

Hi. I wonder if you have a branch or something of the like in Penang. Do you organize public speaking and oratory competitions? I would to know more about this nice public speaking community, and would love to participate in any competitions if there are.

Hi Chulan, sorry for the super late reply! It’s good to know that there are people out there who are enthusiastic about public speaking like you! Hmm.. our club is actually the first gavel club aka junior toastmasters club in Malaysia. So far, i think this is the one and only gavel club over here in Malaysia. Well, i will let you know if we are going to organize any competitions. ;) By the way, we do have our gavel club installation night anually. Let me know if you wanna come. =) and every year, we organize Youth Leadership Programmes for teens to improve their public speaking skills and also, to learn the vital leadership skills. Do drop by our club’s blog often. ;)
